A Classic Spiritual Path, from the first connection to the conscious relationship with our Soul. This story is inspired by the multiple testimonies we received during interviews. Asking the same questions about obstacles and joys encountered, we were struck by the similarities mentioned. A performance, that explores in 7 acts the connection between Parhelia/o, a 30-years old woman/man, and her/his Psychic Being, as illuminated by the teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother.

Like the sun hidden by the fog, the Psychic Being quietly guides Parhelia’s path, though she cannot yet acknowledge its presence. In the labyrinth of modern existence, Parhelia drifts like a leaf on the wind, carried by currents she cannot control. The sweetness of recognition and the power of influence create a new identity – the “awakenedone.” Others gather around her warmth, and in their admiration, she builds a new cage – golden, but a cage, nonetheless. Following the recognition of the spiritual ego’s trap, doubt and apparent disconnection arise. Having come to the end of the spiritual ego’s illusion, Parhelia is seized by great consternation. The misplaced vanity that had subjugated her now leaves her bewildered, her connection to the Psychic Being seemingly severed. No matter how she tries to reconnect, the presence feels absent. Yet the memories of this profound bond remain vivid, and she decides to surrender completely to the divine, diving into the unknown. Her prayers become a sacred mantra: “Thy will be done, O Lord.” “Om Namo Bhagavaté.” In the silence that follows, she learns that true guidance arises not from control, but from the practice of absolute surrender. Like a tree shedding its leaves, she must let go of all she thought she had achieved, returning to the root of her being. Only then can she begin to grow anew.

A more solid connection is re-established on a higher plane, free from illusion. Like the breaking of dawn, a new quality of connection emerges, operating on a more subtle, refined plane. The process becomes a sacred alchemy – as the ego diminishes, the Psychic Being expands, like a system of communicating vessels, filling every aspect of Parhelia’s being with light.
